So we finally took advantage of the aesthetic enhancements (namely the christmas lights and lanterns in the tree) we had made to the yard several weeks ago, and hosted our first real dinner party last night. The sky was clear, the stars bright, and the temperature perfect. What more could you ask for when hosting a dinner party? Oh yeah, an invitation...
The party was put on by our next door neighbor for a select few of her close girlfriends. She was so impressed with our yard that she jumped at the chance when we offered it as the venue for her party. As you can see, it turned out very well. And by the time we got back from another party we were actually invited to, they were so happy that they didn't mind me pulling out the camera and documenting the occasion.
Next step: put on our own dinner party.
