Concentrate...real hard.

One of my roommates is a real DIY (Do It Yourself) kinda guy.  It's because of him that we have a brick pizza oven in the backyard and a string of mason jar encased lights hanging from our tree.  It's been nice having him around because it's caused all of us to look for new things that we could make or do.

The latest DIY effort we took on was to use the grapes from our backyard to create grape juice concentrate.  It took three big buckets full of grapes, four people working for two hours, and a couple of first degree burns, but in the end we filled three half-quart jars with some pretty darn tasty concentrate.

Mmmmmm......

Next up: homemade root beer.
